Our energy projects

We are currently running two energy projects which aim to tackle the three main drivers of fuel poverty;

  • Low income
  • High energy costs
  • Poor energy efficiency

British Gas Energy Trust COVID response fund

A COVID Response project that will provide support for those facing financial difficulties as a result of Covid-19. Many families are facing higher energy bills while they spend more time at home, but at the same time have reduced incomes due to furlough, reduced hours or job loss. We assist people to improve their finances by looking to maximise income, reduce outgoings and make savings on fuel costs. Our aim is to lift people out of debt, help them to make their homes more energy efficient and improve their wellbeing.

This project is funded by the British Gas Energy Trust COVID response fund. The publication of the Trust’s Impact Report 2020 helps shine a light on the positive impact of funding within the heart of communities across England, Scotland and Wales.

The Healthier Energy Project

This project is run in partnership with Homewise and covers Rossendale, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley; we aim to help vulnerable clients who need more support. We welcome referrals and enquiries from other agencies so if you’d like to talk to our Energy Adviser please call the energy line on 01254 304129.

The Healthier Energy Project is funded by the Energy Indusgtry Voluntary Redress Scheme

Our energy projects work together seamlessly to offer energy advice - callers will be directed to the service that most suits their needs.
