Volunteer with us

Citizens Advice has over 18,000 incredible volunteers nationally who are invaluable to delivering our service; they helped over 2.4 million people face to face, over the phone, by email and chat in 2020 to 2021. Coming from a range of backgrounds they find volunteering rewarding, challenging and fun. Some roles will involve helping clients over the phone, others will involve helping clients online, or face to face at your local Citizens Advice

Each local Citizens Advice is an independent charity offering confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free.

When we say we’re for everyone, we mean it. People rely on us because we’re independent and totally impartial.

If you are interested in joining our friendly and professional team at Citizens Advice Rossendale & Hyndburn, we have a number of voluteer roles available .  Free training and support is available so you do not necessarily need to have any experience.  We also cover local travel costs.
